About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
You will manage, coordinate and provide outreach oral health services to frail, mostly dependent and medically complex residents in residential aged care facilities within the Concord RG Hospital catchment. To provide a high standard of oral health care by providing a professional level of service to patients, and by exercising clinical expertise and judgment commensurate with the scope of practice of an Oral Health Therapist Level 4.
To liaise with Directors of Nursing and private practitioners to coordinate care. To undertake planning, implementing and program evaluation to ensure ongoing quality improvement in service delivery.

Ideal Candidate
- Current registration as an Oral Health Therapist or both the registrations of Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Can demonstrate high levels of knowledge, and clinical skills, in the full range of activities permitted under the oral health therapists’ scope of practice.
- Current NSW Driver’s License (P1 and P2 license acceptable) with an ability and willingness to travel occasionally with the Sydney LHD for work purposes.
- All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
