Selection Criteria
- Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA.
- Evidence of extensive clinical and management experience as a practising Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional and clinical issues relating to Occupational Therapy services across the health care spectrum. Expert professional knowledge of methods, principles and practice and skills across client groups and work areas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of allied health management information systems and models of care.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated advanced level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated skills in performance management.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the application of evidence based practice to Occupational Therapy and Allied Health.
- Proven ability to provide leadership and strategic direction, applying senior strategic processes in the management of departmental resources and services.
