Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Substantial post graduate clinical experience in a Mental Health service setting. Demonstrated capabilities for recovery- oriented practice and high level of knowledge, skills and clinical expertise for occupational therapy service provision in a mental health setting.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, provision of clinical supervision, and experience in the supervision of undergraduate occupational therapy students.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage a complex caseload with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative, evidence- based individual and group interventions to support people with persistent and severe mental health problems.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and effective time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
