Selection Criteria:
- Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA.
- Current class C NSW drivers licence or equivalent.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
- Demonstrated advanced practice skills in assessment and management of older persons, with ability to provide clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature, utilising effective time management strategies to ensure workload is managed.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of aged care programs and services, recent /relevant aged care reforms, and residential placement requirements.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes with other staff.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
