About the role
The Nurse Unit Manager is in charge of the Community Mental Health Drug & Alcohol team at Cowra Health Service and provides leadership and management of staff, services and resources to ensure delivery of safe and effective quality care.
This position is operationally responsible to the Hub Manager of MHDA Bathurst & Region.
The Cowra team is a small, dynamic team to provide psychosocial counselling and support to clients with substance use issues, working closely with clinicians from Mental Health Drug and Alcohol as well as several NGO’s.
Cowra is renowned for its fine wines from the region and has sporting facilities such as a golf and bowling club.
Located short distance from Wyangala Dam that offers fishing and great place for water sport activities.
Orientation to the Service will be comprehensive and adapted to the individual needs of the successful applicant.
