Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time (up to 30 June 2026)
Position Classification: Nurse Practitioner / Transitional Nurse Practitioner (TNP will be under a maximum 3-year contract paid at CNC2 whilst undertaking requirements to become an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner. On endorsement, the position holder will transition to NP Year 1.)
Remuneration: $66.51 – 75.42 ph (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)
Location: Negotiable within Western NSW LHD

The Virtual Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol service is a multi-disciplinary team that provides specialist drug and alcohol services virtually and in person across the Western NSW LHD District.

Using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use. You will take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to each individual’s needs. Central to your role will be employing an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person’s journey.

Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

This position also supports Drug & Alcohol services such as Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) and Addiction Medicine covering the WNSWLHD area.
