What you'll be doing
Join the Blood Transplant and Cell Therapies team at Westmead Hospital, providing expert care to patients undergoing complex treatments.
- Provide expert care through all stages of blood transplant and cellular therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Lead patient education, emotional support, and post-treatment planning.
- Coordinate diagnostics and prescribe treatments within a patient-focused model.
- Develop culturally appropriate care strategies to serve WSLHD’s diverse population.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Practitioner
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA and authorised to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the NSW Nurses & Midwifery Registration Board (AHPRA) or working towards such a qualification. If transitional, 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent clinical experience in the specialty of the Nurse Practitioner role.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary blood transplant and cell therapies nursing practice
- Expert knowledge in patient assessment and treatment
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research and quality activities
- Excellent written and oral communication
