To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting.
- Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the FAB service are managed to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is maximising the opportunities for undergraduate nursing students.
- Demonstrated evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal, leadership, conflict resolution and record keeping skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate and advocate the learning needs of students whilst meeting the needs of the organisation, and maximising undergraduate student capacity.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers, students and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness to care needs.
- Knowledge of tertiary education and training as it relates to undergraduate nursing students.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement in the workplace.
