- Registered nurse, with current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant post-registration nursing clinical and education qualifications or significant experience in education and/or healthcare or Nurse Educator qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and/or interest in current issues and directions in the provision HIV, STIs and Hepatitis C.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders including evidence of being highly organised with proven ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate training programs.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and understanding of relevant health and learning information systems for the administration and facilitation of online learning.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and facilitation skills, with proven ability in the promotion of education services using a variety of mediums.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and an ability to work autonomously and independently within an interdisciplinary framework.
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
