Selection Criteria
- Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Completed Nutrition and Dietetics course in the current calendar year to commence this New Graduate role in the following calendar year, with evidence of excellent academic performance (Please include the name of your final clinical placement supervisor as a referee and a transcript of academic record).
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills, and ability to apply these, and your clinical knowledge, to work prioritisation in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of nutrition practice in a multi-cultural society.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence based practice, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of CBORD and the use of such IT systems to support patient nutrition care.
