Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Recognised qualifications as an Occupational Therapist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for children and/or adolescents and their families.
- Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently to accomplish service goals and improved consumer care and outcomes.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
- Extensive contemporary experience and knowledge of mental health care practice, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma informed care and its application when working with children/adolescents and families/carers.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
