Criteria
- Nursing (Nurse Manager Lvl 4): Current Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Occupational Therapist (Level 7): Registration with AHPRA; Social Work (Level 7): As a minimum, a Bachelor Degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; Psychologist (Senior Psychologist): General registration with AHPRA and completion of at least 1 year at the 9th year of service or thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist; Psychologist (Senior Clinical Psychologist): General registration with AHPRA and area of practice endorsement as a clinical psychologist; Welfare Officer (Level 7): Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) through the Djirruwang Program. Health Manager Level 4.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and drive change and reforms consistent with the NSW Ministry of Health, Mental Health Branch and Population Health Branch strategic directions.
- Experience in an operational leadership position, demonstrating sound financial management, understanding of activity based funding, quality human resource management and effective clinical governance.
- Demonstrated leadership of continuous quality improvement and experience delivering high performance in healthcare accreditation processes.
- A proven track record with development and maintenance of professional relationships with key stakeholders both within and external to NSW Health.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to promote a supportive and service oriented environment.
- Demonstrated high level of skill in the analysis of complex issues, formulating approaches, problem solving and implementation of effective strategies.
- Current licence to drive in NSW and ability to travel regularly for work purposes, including occasional overnight stays.
