About the role
Mental Health Emergency Care is recruiting to our casual pool and recruiting to Level 1 or 2 Counsellor, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Registered Midwife, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist or Welfare worker, we’d be very interested in hearing from you!
You might prefer flexible hours, seeking to reduce or change from your current role, supplement your retirement or a regular income while you return to your studies.
Either way, you’ll enjoy total flexibility of hours including working evenings or weekends, working with a fantastic, dedicated, and supportive acute mental health care team.
No two shifts are the same; you might find yourself attending professional development, providing virtual/telephone triage for the 1800 Mental Health line, or completing acute mental health assessments and interventions to any of our 44 health facilities across the local health district. Working closely with other services, you’ll also have access to excellent training opportunities from other stakeholders.
We’re also looking to the future with Police, Ambulance Clinician Early Response interventions, which will broaden this dynamic and exciting role even further!
