About this role


With your skills and experience, you will lead a highly skilled analytical team that provides high quality, timely and insightful information to enable the Ministry of Health to be an effective system manager while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia. 


This is a rare opportunity to apply your leadership skills and experience in the health system to enhance the performance analysis functions of the Ministry of Health. This role is fundamental in assisting the Ministry Senior Executive understand the trends and drivers of health system performance.


Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $139,787 - $161,663 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week

What you'll be doing


The Manager Performance Analysis is responsible for:

  • Managing the Performance Analysis functions and deliverables across the team
  • Providing expert advice to senior management and manage the provision of analysis and information on the performance of the NSW health system to the Ministry, LHDs, the Pillars, Minister’s Office, the Parliament, media and other health system stakeholders
  • Providing input to the development and review of definitions of Key Performance Indicators and Measures
  • Ensuring the provision of insightful analysis and interpretation of performance results and trends
  • Leading, coaching and managing staff to achieve a highly skilled, flexible team and effective work environment and manage resources effectively to deliver business priorities and commitments within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget.
