- Completion of Diploma in Library and Information Studies or equivalent, with eligibility for Library Technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
- Demonstrated experience in the use of library management systems, online information tools, the Microsoft Office suite of products and other software products.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work, including data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of client groups.
- Demonstrated commitment to client-focused service provision, including quality improvement and service evaluation.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and commitment to achieving team goals.
- Must be available to participate in an extended hours roster.
