- Demonstrated experience working as an Administration Officer in a Human Resources environment for a large, complex organization, preferably in a Health environment, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing enquiries whilst maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR/Workforce processes or willingness to learn, including case management, change management and external notification processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to develop interpersonal relationships with all levels of staff and external parties.
- Proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature. Ability to apply legislation, regulations, instructions, or procedural guidelines relevant to all People and Culture functions and including a good knowledge of recordkeeping requirements and systems to support compliance of the State Records Act 1998
- Ability to carry out a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and use judgment to modify requirements according to different situations.
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and HRIS systems.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
