- Must hold registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Unrestricted NSW driver’s license.
- Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of Occupational Therapy within the Model of Care of Hospital in the Home (HITH). This involves providing acute care in the home to patients, carers and families requiring assessment, environmental modifications, home modifications, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
- Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
