About the role:
- As a Health and Security Assistant you will play a key role in delivering essential patient care while fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- You will collaborate with a dedicated health and security team, alongside a professional group of doctors and nurses, to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital, working on a 24/7 roster.
- Comprehensive orientation, hands-on training, and ongoing mandatory learning will be provided, with continuous support from the Management Team at Armidale Hospital.
About you:
To thrive in this role, you should be proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude. You must be a team player, while also having the capability and initiative to work independently.
- Currently hold a class 1A Security licence or working towards obtaining or willingness to obtain.
- Capable of working shift hours.
- Knowledge and understanding of privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
