The role:
Jump into your new career with Midwifery at Moree Hospital! As one of our New Graduate Midwives, you will rotate through our entire service to get a feel for the different aspects of midwifery including birthing suites, postnatal and antenatal care. You will get to undertake the entire scope of practice for a midwife, enjoying the ability to gain hands-on experience in all facets of midwifery.
You won’t be working alone. This is a supported New Graduate study pathway - education and ongoing training are pillars of this position. You will be provided support by the senior Midwives, the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) and Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME). Ther education team will provide targeted, appropriate education as well as set study days to help you work towards your career goals. Requirements:
- Registration as a Registered Midwife with Authority to Practice with AHPRA at the commencement of employment.
Additional Information:
- * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
