Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in business management, commerce, economics or related discipline or other relevant experience. Membership of a relevant professional association is desirable.
  2. Significant experience, preferably within the Health Sector, in Senior Finance or Business Management roles.
  3. Proven success in developing and leading financial improvement projects (cost reduction, revenue improvement and/or productivity / efficiency improvements).
  4. Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and experience in liaison and negotiation for contact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated capacity for lateral thinking and able to demonstrate creativity and innovation in the performance of work.
  6. Ability to undertake complex financial analysis using various statistical techniques.
  7. Demonstrated high level leadership, and management skills to enable a clear and defined outcome focus to meet required deadlines.
  8. Demonstrated prior experience in working in an Activity Based Management environment.
