About the Opportunity
In this role, you will be expected to be available and respond immediately to all contacts whilst rostered on-call for the Sexual Assault Counselling Service SLHD including attendance at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital within 1 hour of being called in. You will be responsible for providing thorough after hours crisis assessment and intervention to adults and young people aged 14 years and older who have been recently sexually assaulted within the context of a joint response with the Sexual Assault Medical Service.

Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Social Work/Psychology or a Bachelor Degree in a Health related field with an emphasis on human behaviour, psychosocial development and counselling. Full registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership with the AASW.
- Availability for regular participation in the Sexual Assault Counselling Service after hours on-call roster and capacity to be at the RPA hospital within 1 hour of being called in.
