- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Superior operational management knowledge and skills within a relevant setting with demonstrated ability to contribute to and report on KPIs as they relate to identified nursing direction.
- Evidence of successful achievement in ensuring the human, physical and financial resources of the service are managed, within a defined budget, to deliver safe and efficient health care.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, patients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change.
- Extensive leadership using contemporary change management methodologies and an understanding of current issues impacting on the nursing profession
