Selection Criteria
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or Public Health or equivalent qualification in a health related field.
- Sound knowledge of the NSW Public Health Act 2010, the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000, the Local Government Act 1993 and the Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2008 and associated Regulations.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in identifying, analysing and managing environmental health risks.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in environmental health research, investigations and evaluation.
- Word processing and computer database skills.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence with a good driving record (P2 licence acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
