District Security Partner - Site Negotiable within Southern NSW LHD
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Proven success in development and implementation of security mitigation strategies and plans ensuring budget, compliance and performance targets are met.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills necessary to build constructive collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to drive organisational change in service practices whilst improving focus on customer service to achieve required service outcomes and the ability to motivate and work as part of a team with a commitment to delivering a quality service.
- Evidence of effective organisational and time management skills when working in a high pressure environment with periods of heavy workload; with the ability to successfully manage workflow and competing demands to deliver client-focused outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to apply legislation and NSW Health security policy, and prepare local security policy and procedure, with attention to detail to facilitate decision making.
- Evidence of strong communication skills to collaborate with clinical and corporate staff, team members, patients and the community to achieve high levels of safety and security across health services.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays. Current 2A Security Licence (desirable).
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
