- Bachelor or Masters of Pharmacy recognised in Australia, with current unrestricted registration as a pharmacist with the AHPRA.
- Relevant experience within a hospital pharmacy service, such as clinical service provision, management of hospital pharmacy services and/or governance of hospital pharmacy services (such as roles within Drugs and Therapeutics Committees and/or implementing and overseeing National Standard 4 or similar).
- Experience in quality improvement programs within hospital pharmacy systems.
- Experience working within a Clinical Governance framework ensuring safe delivery of pharmacy services and optimal medication safety.
- Experience providing pharmacy and medication safety information and education to diverse staff groups such as service managers, nurses, doctors, hospital and LHD executive team.
- Experience consulting on and writing policy documents related to pharmacy and medication safety standards, to be implemented by a range of services and teams across hospital and remote sites.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
