About the Opportunity
South West Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is seeking a talented and dynamic District Data Integrity Manager to complement the Data and Analytics team within Digital Health. 

You will have a passion for data integrity, be an outstanding collaborator, have an excellent eye for detail, and comprehensively understand patient data.  

This position has an aim of ensuring an accurate and complete representation of SWSLHD activity, in support of patient quality / safety and financial sustainability.

 

 

What You'll be Doing
The District Data Integrity Manager is required to comprehensively understand and document the flow of patient data which supports performance reporting and functions, ensuring an accurate and complete representation of SWSLHD activity. A key component of success in this role is proactive and effective collaboration with stakeholders, including patient administration and data system managers.

  1. Qualifications in Computers Science, Engineering, and/or relevant extensive work experience in a similar role.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of data relationships & experience in SQL programming using large data sets.
  3. High level analytical skills, including an excellent eye for detail and proven ability to quickly synthesise & interpret complex information using software such as Excel, SAS, SPSS, Python, R.
  4. Experience in identifying and addressing data integrity issues with the ability to provide timely, expert advice and recommendations on solutions for improvement.
  5. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to consult effectively, manage expectations and negotiate successful outcomes.
  6. Ability to problem-solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, both autonomously and within a team environment.
  7. Experience in documenting processes and in preparing and delivering presentations and educational content.
  8. Continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and adopt new methods and procedures including working in areas of limited precedence.
