The Director People and Culture is a newly created role that will be instrumental in fostering a people-centric culture and providing strategic counsel to the Executive Leadership Team on all workforce related matters.

The position has eight direct reports, and a larger, geographically dispersed team, and covers the full employee lifecycle including all employer obligations (legal and ethical), supporting organisational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, wellbeing health and safety, security, learning and capability, succession planning and diversity and inclusion.

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Health Service Senior Executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $217,997 to $242,100 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health: 

 

  • You will be purpose driven, outcomes focused, collaborative, empathetic and have a passion for creating cultures that support people to thrive.
  • You have a track record of leadership within a large, complex organisation and have led successful transformational culture change. 
  • You have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to influence and engage at all levels. 
  • Experience working in or at the intersection of health in your recent career is highly desirable.
