- Demonstrated extensive experience in successfully developing a strategic communications platform targeted at building a distinctive brand among competing voices.
- Expertise in media and issues management, stakeholder engagement and communication, including in selecting and implementing cost-effective communications strategies.
- Strong people leadership capacity with significant experience building, motivating and engaging a team, managing resources and developing and monitoring employee performance.
- Demonstrated understanding of operating in a government setting, ideally with knowledge of the health care environment, including managing complex issues and diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in designing and promoting reports for public release targeted to community and/or clinical audiences.
- Strong project design and implementation skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
- High level demonstrated oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and presentation skills, and ability to operate in a close-knit team environment.
- Ability to successfully function and deliver against multiple and competing tight deadlines in a fast paced, demanding environment.
