You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring NSW Health’s digital communications are of the highest quality and provide the most relevant information and services for all stakeholders. 


Clerk Grade 7/8, salary from $106,025 - $117,363 plus Super and annual leave loading, for up to 12 months.

What you'll be doing

As a Digital Communications Officer, you will provide advice and support to stakeholders on the development of the NSW Health website, applications, and projects.


Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Creating, analysing and reviewing content published to NSW Health websites, intranets and other digital platforms
  • Ensuring web publishing standards are met, including website accessibility and best practise digital publishing
  • Reporting on website performance and analytics
  • Monitoring and actioning web-related enquiries and requests from NSW Health stakeholders and the wider community
  • Working in a collaborative team environment with people from various disciplines including digital, communications, design, media, social media, policy, workforce and administration amongst others


About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with: 

  • Proven experience in developing and evaluating digital communications, including advanced web development skills within content management platforms
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, including experience working with multiple and varying stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write, edit and publish engaging web content
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast turnaround, high volume environment
