  2. Qualification which provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitian Association of Australian (DAA) and hold current Accredited Practicing Dietitian status (APD). Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education and development.
  3. Clinical experience in a hospital or community health setting with experience in mental health, aged care and/ or related areas.
  4. Experience in the nutrition management of people with chronic and complex conditions. Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between mental illness and poor physical health and how the dietitian can contribute to improved health outcomes.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to, and experience with quality improvement and evaluation processes that enhance service delivery and clinical practice standards.
  6. Strong organisational and time management skills, clinical reasoning and decision making and ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage and motivate patients/ consumers. Confident in the use of information technology.
  8. NSW Class C Drivers licence.
