What you will bring to the role:
- Registered Nurse and/or Midwife holding current National Registration with the Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current driver’s licence and willingness to use for work travel purpose.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management; or equivalent Senior Nursing and/or Midwifery management experience.
- Recent broad clinical and operational management experience at a senior level within a complex health care environment including strategic planning and the development and implementation of Business / Operational Plans.
- Demonstrated ability in effective and contemporary utilisation of nursing and midwifery resources.
- Demonstrated experience in the successful application of change management principles.
- Demonstrated operational, financial, and human resource experience including workforce planning and development at middle management levels.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff.
- Proven experience in the application of quality improvement and risk management principles
