About the Opportunity
The Data Analyst produces datasets, analyses, charts and/or dashboards (reports) to support cancer research, and cancer-related health-system monitoring and performance reporting activities to inform decision making, and support achievement of NSW Cancer Plan objectives. They contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Institutes' data assets, reports and reporting systems.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing, analysing, and summarising data and the production of charts, and tables.
- Strong skills and experience in R and SQL programming languages and ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Ensures compliance with security and data governance best practices, consistently adhering to SOPs with great attention to details
- Tertiary qualifications in public health, computer science, data science, statistics, information management or other relevant discipline.
