CYMHS Intake and ED Clinical Nurse Consultant
- Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse from AHPRA with at least 5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience, approved post graduate qualifications within mental health, child and adolescent mental health or related speciality and substantial relevant clinical experience within this setting.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead evidence based nursing practice in the assessment, care planning and care delivery to children and young people with complex mental health issues. Ability to provide expert clinical consultancy, networking and communicating across a range of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to strengths based practice and recovery focused care as well as consumer and carer participation and consultation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
