About the opportunity
Health Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Construction and Safety Manager to champion safety and quality excellence across our major capital projects. In this pivotal role, you'll monitor construction safety and quality on designated projects, ensuring our integrated project teams maintain the highest standards in all construction activities.

As our Construction and Safety Manager, you'll establish and communicate client WHS strategies, conduct regular site safety walks, and review contractor documentation. You'll be the go-to expert for construction safety matters, participating in WHS workshops, sharing lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement across our project portfolio. Your expertise will directly influence how we deliver safe, quality outcomes for NSW communities.

This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse projects throughout NSW, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

This is a full-time ongoing role. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

About you
We're looking for a construction safety professional with extensive experience in client side delivery management and a proven track record of implementing WHS strategies across complex construction projects. You'll have deep knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and WHS principles, combined with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
