- Bachelor of Occ Therapy or equiv quals recognised for general registration with the OT Board of Aust; or Bachelor of Physiotherapy or other equiv qual recognised for general registration with the Physio Board of Aust; or Bachelor of Social Work or other equiv qual providing eligibility for membership of Aust Assoc of SWorkers; or Bachelor of Speech Path or other equiv qual providing eligibility for membership of Speech Path Aust; or Current full registration with the Psych Board of Aust with a 4 yr degree in psychology, being a 3 yr degree with a 4th yr honours in psychology, or a qual deemed equivalent by the employer, and have completed a minimum of 1 yr at the 9th year of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist; or tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling and eligibility to join ASORC.
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and provision of rehabilitation services within the specialised area of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or acquired brain injury (ABI).
- Demonstrated experience in developing rehabilitation plans and the provision of case management.
- Approved iCare/Lifetime Care Case Manager status or willingness to work towards the same and current working knowledge of NSW CTP, Workcover and iCare schemes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills with the ability to apply independent professional judgement to a range of complex clinical situations.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, quality improvement and evidenced based practice.
- Current drivers licence valid to drive in NSW.
