The Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice (AYAH) provides specialised support to Adolescents and Young Adults with a life limiting illness. The facility offers respite care, symptom management and end of life care. The care provided is holistic, compassionate and culturally appropriate, delivered by an empowered multidisciplinary workforce working in partnership with patients and their families.
The successful applicant will work closely with facility management, patients, families and community groups to support the provision of holistic care.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 7 January 2026 
Position Classification: Health Manager Level 2
Remuneration: $55.40 - $65.37 per hour

What you'll be doing

The Community Partnerships Manager is responsible for promoting the AYAH service through communication with the broader public and developing strong community partnerships aligned to the goals of the AYAH clients and services, building relationships with prospective donors, clients and their families.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification in marketing/business management disciplines or relevant equivalent experience.
  2. Highly developed and proven skills in engaging with the community and developing consumer participation and partnerships.
  3. Experience working with volunteer organisations, government and/ or not for profit organisations to develop services and enhance service delivery.
