- Relevant Tertiary Degree / Qualification and / or extensive experience at a senior management level in delivering health services, research and or clinical trials.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing effective change in a health service, including complex change management, communications, risk management.
- Highly developed negotiation consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders and objectivity in decision-making.
- Demonstrated extensive experience clinical trials, health service operations, planning and /or service development, including analysis and resolution of complex issues.
- Experience and/or knowledge of 'Clinical Redesign or AIM Methodology' for change management as recommended by NSW Ministry of Health.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, district management and key stakeholders.
- High-level knowledge of inter-relationship between models of care, facility options and departmental operational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and independently initiate and prioritise actions to complete complex tasks.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
