About the Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
 
The Clinical Psychologist will help provide psychology assessment, care and management for a large, multi-centre, Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) funded randomised controlled trial. Days of work are negotiable and a third year service Clinical Psychologist is highly desirable.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current registration to practice as a psychologist, endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology, must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and ACPA.
  • Ability to apply and share expert knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • High level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
