Clinical Psychologist, Child Development Service
- Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology from an APAC accredited university. Full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with Endorsement, or working towards Endorsement, in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Educational and Developmental Psychology, (or other AHPRA endorsed area of clinical practice in Psychology which the employer deems relevant to the functions of the position, may be considered).
- Demonstrated experience working with children under school age, who have additional needs, developmental disabilities and neurological conditions.
- High standard of proficiency in the administration and interpretation of a range of psychometric and developmental assessments for preschool aged children, including familiarity with the Griffiths Scales of Child Development – 3rd edition (and/or committed to becoming an accredited user of the GRIFFITHS-III).
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, writing of comprehensive clinical reports, excellent organisational skills and computer literacy.
