Selection Criteria
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), a current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
- Relevant post registration qualifications and at least 3 years recent experience working in the Child & Family Health clinical area, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Demonstrated involvement in the development/change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence-based research.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation and evidence of leadership in safety and quality innovation.
- Demonstrated skills in the development and facilitation of patient and carer education; and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
