Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2) - Sustaining NSW Families

Selection Criteria

1. Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), a current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
2. Relevant post registration qualifications and at least 3 years recent experience working in the Child & Family Health clinical area, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
3. Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
4. Demonstrated involvement in the development/change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence-based research.
5. Detailed knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation and evidence of leadership in safety and quality innovation.
6. Demonstrated skills in the development and facilitation of patient and carer education; and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
7. Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
8. Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
