Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes Educator

1. Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and relevant post-graduate qualification in Diabetes Management and Education and at least 3 years minimum experience working area of their specified post-graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
2. Evidence of ability to develop, implement and evaluate education in diabetes for staff/patients/clients and carers.
3. Demonstrated ability to influence and enhance clinical practice and improve effectiveness of intervention, including introduction of evidence based practice.
4. Demonstrated ability to undertake quality improvement activities and promote an environment that encourages the application of these principles.
