Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes Educator
- Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and relevant post-graduate qualification in Diabetes Management and Education and at least 3 years minimum experience working area of their specified post-graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Evidence of ability to develop, implement and evaluate education in diabetes for staff/patients/clients and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and enhance clinical practice and improve effectiveness of intervention, including introduction of evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake quality improvement activities and promote an environment that encourages the application of these principles.
