What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and / or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical area and/or qualifications that is deemed appropriate to Mental Health Services.
- Recent extensive Mental Health Services clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel.
- Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate education.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
- Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
- Commitment to working with NUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current Driver’s licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
