1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
2. Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualification and/or substantial clinical and educational experience.
3. Mental health nursing experience across a range of subspecialties within a hospital, community health, ambulatory, or correctional setting.
4. Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
5. Demonstrated understanding of teaching and adult learning principles in the health care environment.
6. Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills and demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment.
7. Computer literacy and demonstrated understanding of health services information systems.
8. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
