Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2, Physical Health Care Lead - SESLHD MHS

Selection Criteria:

1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, and minimum five years full time equivalent post-graduate experience, with at least 3 years in Mental Health or such other qualifications or experience deemed relevant to this role.
2. Hold or working towards relevant tertiary qualification relevant to physical health or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
3. Recent extensive experience in physical health care nursing and education, physical clinical examination and assessment, within acute nursing and/or primary care settings.
4. Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and decision making skills in relation to managing responsibilities.
5. Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs to enhance a high standard of care and collaboration with carers, service users and service providers.
6. Demonstrated experience in facilitating groups, and the ability to lead and implement change, and develop direction in clinical practice by initiation, utilisation, review and translation of evidence based research into practice, within a practice development framework.
7. Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems.
8. Current NSW drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
