Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 - Mental Health Service

What will you bring to the role:

1. Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Registered Nurse
2. A registered nurse who has at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition, who has a post graduate qualification in the specialist nursing field, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the LHD.
3. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework applied to clinical practice.
4. Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the initiation, utilisation and review of evidence-based research.
5. Demonstrated skills leadership in strategic and clinical service planning and expertise in the management of organisational and cultural change.
6. Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and experience in the development of mental health education programs.
7. Demonstrated clinical expertise in complex recovery orientated, trauma informed, culturally sensitive and family inclusive consumer-centred mental health nursing with the ability to work independently.
8. A current NSW driver's licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
