About the role:
As the new Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) in pain management at the Tamworth Integrated Pain Service (TIPS), you will be responsible for contributing your expertise to provide leadership in expert patient-centred advice and consultancy for complex pain. On any given day, you will be delivering innovative clinical practice models of care; delivery high quality education and advice to provide support for patients with complex needs; support staff including students on placement, pain resources nurses and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS); and liaise with other senior nursing colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure strong communication networks are built and maintained; amongst other things. • Be a fantastic communicator, both written and verbal and across a diverse range of audiences
  • Understand the need to look after personal health and wellbeing in what can sometimes be a challenging role
