Selection Criteria: 

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award. Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW or Occupational Therapy with current registration with AHPRA. Registered Nurse/Midwife with current unrestricted registration with AHPRA and meet the requirement for NUM 1 grading under the NSW Public Health System Nurses' and Midwives' State Award. Psychology registration with the PsyBA, along with completion of 12 months at the 9th year of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologists. For Clinical Psychologists, full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), with endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology (or eligibility to progress towards the same), along with a minimum two-year full-time accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology.
  2. Demonstrated skills in leadership and management within an adult community mental health care setting including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  3. Has undertaken and continues to engage in professional development to further advance their management and leadership competencies
  4. A demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of adult community mental health care services with a focus on recovery-oriented and strengths approaches that incorporate consumer collaboration in care planning.
  5. A demonstrated understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation
  6. A demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and the ability to manage change.
  7. Good computer literacy skills
  8. Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
