Clinical Education Lead

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) as a Clinical Education Lead, in the Leadership Management Development and Educational Design (LMDED) Portfolio.

The position leads and manages the development of the Early Medical Abortion Care eLearning awareness module.

The position works in partnership with internal HETI staff, the Ministry of Health and Subject Matter Experts. The position provides advice and support for the development and design of the Early Medical Abortion Care eLearning awareness module and monitoring and reporting on project outcomes.

The role is based in Sydney at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards in a modern, purpose-built 5 star rated green campus that is well serviced by public transport and access to public parking. Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or demonstrated health experience overseeing development of complex education programs.
  2. Current AHPRA Nursing or midwifery registration and demonstrated current experience in women's health, reproductive health or related areas (experience in early abortion care is desirable but not essential).
  3. Demonstrated experience in designing evidence-based education content and programs for clinical and other related health environments.
  4. Highly effective interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders with competing priorities to reach a mutually beneficial outcome.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication and consultation skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, influence and negotiate with others.
  6. Demonstrate experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships and interagency relationships including skills in influencing and negotiating.
  7. Demonstrated highly effective project management and organisational skills.
  8. Highly proficient skills in business software programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Acrobat), Internet search engines, data management and project management software.
