  1. Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management/Medical Record Administration (or equivalent as deemed by the organisation).
  2. Demonstrated high level clinical coding knowledge and experience using ICD-10-AM, the Australian Coding Standards and the 3M Encoder.
  3. Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in casemix, development of data/information reports and quality improvement activities.
  4. High level computer skills with knowledge and experience
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in complying with the NSW Health Privacy Manual, with a thorough understanding of confidentiality.
  7. Proven ability to organise and prioritise a high volume workload and meet deadlines.
  8. Proven ability to determine integrity of data and problem solve.
