You will be based at Gosford Hospital, however, you may be required to also work at other hospitals and Community Centres from time to time including Wyong, Long Jetty and Woy Woy Hospitals, and willing to participate in a weekend handyperson roster.

About You  
  • You have experience in maintenance & related building services infrastructure and / or in general site maintenance and the ability to work as part of a multifaceted maintenance operation team in a busy work environment.
  • You hold a current Occupational Health and Safety General Induction For Construction in NSW Certificate or willingness to obtain within three months of appointment as well as a current valid Australian Driver’s Licence and hold qualifications, or have a willingness to obtain qualifications in, Forklift Licence, Height Safety, Traffic Control, Tagging and Testing.
  • You have demonstrated customer service, communication and interpersonal skills including the basic ability to operate a computer and problem solving skills.

Where you'll be working
Provide a day-to-day delivery of Handyperson services across Central Coast Local Health District. This encompasses working with a small team of Trade and other maintenance staff to support the delivery of ethical, cost effective and a timely delivery of Maintenance services across the District.
As noted above, handyperson's may be required to work at other hospitals and Community Centres from time to time including Wyong, Long Jetty and Woy Woy Hospitals, and willing to participate in a weekend handyperson roster.
